From the lamiaceae family originating in Spain, the whole plant is strongly aromatic. The oil has a warm, penetrating and slightly eucalyptus type odour. It is steam distilled from the dried flowering herb.
The properties of Marjoram are now well proven to stimulate, heal, relax and soothe, and the importance of smell on both the body and mind is well known.
Directions:
- Blend 1 drop each of Spanish Marjoram, Rosemary and Cypress in 10ml of Sweet Almond oil and use as an after-sport massage oil.
- Vaporisation: add 2-4 drops of essential oils to a burner or aroma stream.
